It could be described as self defence, What was a tiny movement became the norm and the demonised became the righteous. The actions were widely regarded as being 30 years too late and totally futile, but everyone was at it! The polarisation went in a direction that it's creators didn't expect, they became the prey. The cells went without names, their attacks so numerous many where unreported. Nothing could be counter productive as negative impacts need time to sit within..... and time was running out. Nelson Mandela was quoted as saying 'One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter", but these acts of eco-terrorism were for every man and the climate deniers had long since been lynched. Too little too late, science gave us a crystal ball but we were too busy in our comfort to pay it the attention it deserved.
